SHDSL

SHDSL (Symmetric DSL) is a symmetric broadband technology where the dowload and upload speeds are equal.  The service is configured differently to ADSL where the download speed is faster than the upload speed.

While SHDSL by nature has the capabilities of supporting voice over IP and video conferencing, Clever recommends choosing a more robust technology like fixed wireless ethernet or fibre whereby Clever can configure the service to prioritise network traffic to improve application performance and speed.
